Except that it is gray market. What is the point? Nothing actually happens because there are no market makers.

Look at all the fat finger trades that occur in these SEC suspended POS stocks. They can move the stock price by 100%, 1000%, even 10000%. And they are real trades. But the stock price goes right back to where it was before the fat finger. It does nothing except mess up the chart.

The scenario you described isn't really manipulating the market because the gray market could not care less. Without MM's, it has absolutely no effect.
