Google "RadioShack" and "Credit default" and you'll find plenty of stuff going back years, articles often implying traders MUST save RSH. You'll agree that RSH shares are actually collapsing quite rapidly lately.

RSH's tenure as a retailer will end when vendors cut them off, and the recent freefall (surprising even to me) suggests that's happening. The vendors, often large firms, have even greater reason to save RSH, a gigantic customer. Traders will move on, but the vendors will need RSH for years. However it appears that vendors have nothing more to offer.

For all the talk about keeping the stores stocked for Christmas, the stores seem empty compared with past years. The November RSH financials suggest that too.

There will be a tug of war, but after BK. The market clearly expects that very soon... I'm thinking soon after Christmas, mid-January would be my wild guess.
