I see. Sorry, I don't eat Wheaties as part of my daily regimen. I have most certainly heard of Michael Jordan but wouldn't dream of referring to him as "Mike"...more like Mr. Jordan.
That would be like walking up to Dwight David Eisenhower (I'm sure you know who he was) and saying, "Hey Ike, what's shaking?"
