The future of 4K television is indeed taking off. I think the fact that the major companies have decided to take the prices of the things out of the stratosphere had something to do with that.
Maybe the tech to make the 4K panels got unexpectedly cheap or something.
But it still doesn't bode well for NTEK. Their only shot was to be the only 4K streaming channel on the block, since that's the only way anyone would actually consider paying for their atrocious offerings.
And of course, they've completely blown that window of opportunity. Now they're competing head-to-head with providers who have actual quality content.
It's like a high school football team going up against the Rams.
You might argue that NTEK is plucky and sincere, but there's nothing sincere at all about them. Every day it's a new cheap ploy, a fresh lie.
