You are right about news making a stock run. I have also noticed you can't hold more than a couple days because you will lose for sure. I have to decide on a limit maybe 5-10 percent loss then just get out I have a habit of waiting thinking it's going back up. Need to learn when to walk away. I have even tried to start learning to read charts but that's way beyond me right now too confusing.
