Developed using a structure called a “multi-junction solar cell.”- Ergo, irrelevant to SLTD

Sorry man but multi-junction cells are old news. We've had 40%+ efficient multi-junction cells for years. Problem is they're extremely expensive, which is why folks like SunPower aren't selling these.

The beauty of Solar3D's 3D cell is in it's high power output (200% more) relative to other 2D panels of the same cost.

From Wikipedia:

Currently, the best lab examples of traditional silicon solar cells have efficiencies around 25%,[3] while lab examples of multi-junction cells have demonstrated performance over 43%.[4][5] Commercial examples of tandem, two layer, cells are widely available at 30% under one-sun illumination,[6] and improve to around 40% under concentrated sunlight. However, this efficiency is gained at the cost of increased complexity and manufacturing price. To date, their higher price and higher price-to-performance ratio have limited their use to special roles, notably in aerospace where their high power-to-weight ratio is desirable. In terrestrial applications these solar cells have been suggested for use in concentrated photovoltaics (CPV),[7] with numerous small test sites around the world.

Wasn't Spectrolab's cell a prototype? When will we see their prototype in production?

If sltd is so bad then sell if you have shares. Wby hang arou d stinking up the place. There are plenty of stocks i dont think have a future so i move the hell on from them. Sltd is making moves for future growth, a legit ceo...and maming profit. ...complaining about an otc all the time is in this case misguided and also really suspect
