There may be exceptions, but they are just that. Exceptions.

This is his best opportunity to do what he believes will help the world in the shortest period of time.

I agree with cameron...if he cared more about the financial rewards, he would have stayed at Merck. Do you really think he left Merck for ONCS for the money????

So Pierce is not in the industry to find effective treatments and possible cures. He's only in it for the big bucks and stock options. This must be the same reason why people go to medical school, spend years in residency, and run up debts in the 100s of thousands.
