If there's a non-disclosure agreement in place, and we don't know if there is because nothing has ever been said about one, they may not even be able to say if they are in negotiations with a potential partner.
If OncoSec were to say that there is an NDA in place, wouldn't this blow their cover, in a manner of speaking?
I have experience with NDA's, and other similar instruments, having worked for a large American corporation that did business with other large entities and the US government. Sometimes, things were under wraps for years before they were made public.
