It all depends on the trustee. Usually stockholders come last. But oh man imagine if they wiped the plate clean and left this trading. All lotto here.

Once chapter 7 is invoked, the company is disolved along with its shares.

I have never heard of any company leaving a chapter 7 intact, with common share holders still around, let alone benefitting.
