The reference was to comparing the price paid for Cubist with almost all of its revenue coming from Dapto, and the price paid for Brila which is likely to replace Dapto in the coming years: 9 billion verses 5 million. There in lies the entire context for his statement of looking like geniuses. I doubt he was in any way referring to the much discussed here fiasco of losing a bunch of patents that were part of the 9 billion valuation or any other implied meaning.
