Since I can only post once a day at the present time (let's just say I have time constraints during this busy holiday season and leave it at that), I will try to answer your questions as well as others in one post.

No, I do not know how many times you can fail a mini-evac, but I did hear a rumor (from someone involved in the certification for that particular airline at the time they were being certified)that one airline failed it 9 times. My guess is that you can keep trying, but the "punishment" is that the FAA can take up to 30 days to re-schedule the test, if they want to take that long.

Yes, N706BL was flown back to Oscoda to make 1,000% sure that everything was in place down to the thousandth of an inch. She will return to Willow Run at the end of this week and will be ready for her re-test early next week.

As for the tail number and that Cessna issue - I wrote to flight aware and they responded, and I posted the response here (post #27626 and 27628). There was an original error in a flight plan filed long ago by that Cessna, and flightaware has since corrected any new flight plans to be filed, but the old one cannot be changed and therefore will continue to show up until N706BL files a flight plan under its tail number (unfortunately, the last flight from Willow Run to Oscoda was filed under the flight number - BLT101 - and if you enter that on flightaware.com, you can see that it took quite an interesting route to get from point A to point B. Basically, she was doing a "shake-out" run - part of what needs to be done before the proving flights can commence - and she received 2 thumbs up).
