#198663 RE: Frustrated #198662

I am new here but not new to the Pharmaceutical and Biotech world. I have read over a lot of the information here and on other sites and sifted through some of the studies on a cursory basis...so I am no expert..just my opinion of what I think has happened and what will likely happen.

-PPHM ran the ATM to the point where they no longer could and ran it hard and long especially in light of the " vial labeling error" that added great expense/setback and then went to PPHMP to keep the train moving. IMHO they would not have went the route of PPHMP if they were going to partner...this was a move to keep going on their own...especially with Fast-Track in the bag. I think it was a good thing.

The Sunrise Trials are set to continue according to PPHM's website until the end of 2016. Then a year to gather and access data and submit to the FDA likely in 2017. An approval time-frame is realistically the end of 2017 - early 2018. Again my opinion.

Mr. King has spoken of a partner on and off for the last five or so years...I am not getting excited over a partnership move anytime soon. If it happens it happens. There has been lots of speculation but PPHMP is there to keep the train moving..why partner only to give the profits at this point to somebody else? Don't see the logic...valuation is low now and after approval the sky is the limit.

My overall feeling is like any drug company the money doesn't happen unless a startling discovery is made and published or the drug is approved. This drug has been around the block a few times..I am not expecting a startling discovery but I am expecting approval to be used in combination with other chemo agents as other monoclonal agents like Rituxin is used with CHOP. Rituxin is $2,000.00/dose and used routinely in treating Lymphoma for example. A blockbuster drug. Bavituximab has such potential.

So welcome to the world of the pharmaceutical industry where waiting and watching can take years. Nothing happening is not out of the ordinary...it's just a slow slow process.
