As for now, the actual decisive argument is not the zero emission (in fact, it is only zero emission if all energy needed to make H2 comes from renewable sources like sun, see, wind) but is the reliability and total cost of ownership.
Big companies are more interested in the $$ the can earn/save than the green story. The zero emission just sells very well to the public.
So, IMO, Yes, PLUG is affected by declining oil price.
