I dont trust this article.. Confusing GE and GM is not a good sign. And I am not convinced that GE will only use EOS machines, and why would they limit themselves to use a single (and old) version of the EOS printer? This article smells wrong.

it's only a guess but I think Auburn plant will have the EOS M290 machines. EOS seems to be their machine of choice for nozzle production.. Z
