If you had those leap (calls) purchased in October 2013, then you would hope for a B/O announced as soon as possible to maximize the huge gain. a buyout means a guarantee increase in your financial investment. holding out on hopes that ariads share price will amount to more than a buyout price, is not a guarantee. what kind of investor does not want a guarantee to increase their financial holdings?…absurd and an illogical investment strategy.
