yours was the best .. for some reason Ellen in it reminded me of a dead-pan comic .. they grab me, must be the funny stuff coming out of a dead pan .. lol, i've spent the time since my last post looking for a comedy skit given by a guy i've always referred to as Micky Vernon when telling the story .. he walked slowly on to the middle of the stage .. stood for seconds, no one came, and said "you'd never know it but i used to be a lonely guy" .. he looked so sad everyone laughed .. some lines (almost) were .. "i belonged to a lonely mans club .. we used to meet in the 2nd story of an empty lot .. we used to count (oops, not coming just now, little colored candies all different colors in a little bag .. anyway the line went) .. "we used to count ________s for fun" .. missing the name squashes the humor .. anyway Ellen in yours reminded me of him .. ic now his name was Jackie Vernon, that's if i have the Vernon right .. Mickey i've been reminded was a baseball player ..

the other day i told a lady behind the bar "if i ever develop Alzheimer's if i ever get old, i won't notice because i'm been used to it since about 6" .. chuckle .. anyway .. she laughed so maybe she got a few more minutes of life from it ..

wonder how i searched for the skit? .. i'll post this and roughly find out ..

oh .. DD your family reciting the old Steve Martin skit sounds great! .. top fun and great exercise .. the odds of any of you guys getting the big A would be rather negligible i'd bet ..
