I have a friend that lives in a very small cabin on his 110 acres of woods with no electric or running water. He generally uses it as a place to sleep and keep his belongings.
He also has a large, fully equipped woodworking shop on a country road that has TV, electric toilet, and pellet stove. He doesn't sleep there although he could.
The county is now after him because he is essentially off the grid in regard to his living quarters. They seem to think that he need a toilet, electric and a well.
WE think that they're mad because they can't tax him accordingly!! We'll see what his lawyer can do.
