Interesting comment about it crashing on Android because I've been running it for months on Android 4.4.4 Samsung Galaxy 5 with no issues. No stutters, no slips, just smooth music (well if you consider Metal to be smooth)
Just cause it doesn't work for you doesn't mean it's a bad app...IMHO.
