Sponge delivers Sprite mobile downloads for interactive TV campaign
26 Apr 06
A new member of the ‘Sprite’ family has arrived…

Weapon 7 has used Sponge to fulfill the mobile part of their interactive TV campaign for 'Sprite' 3G. Featuring a new baby elf-like creature alongside a can of 'Sprite' 3G, the ad offers ‘both sprites for free.’

The can of 'Sprite' 3G is available to viewers pressing their blue button to order a postal coupon. The new baby sprite also comes as a mobile video download of the dancing creature delivered to viewers texting SPRITE to the promoted shortcode. Sponge worked closely with Weapon 7 to ensure the content was of highest quality and compatible with a maximum number of mobile handsets, and managed the content delivery.

Joanna Moynihan, ‘Sprite’ Brand Manager is thrilled “we’ve almost surpassed our target number of interactions for the whole campaign with a week still to go…!”

'Sprite' is a registered trade mark of The Coca-Cola Company. 'Sprite' 3G is a trade mark of The Coca-Cola Company.

Arc uses Sponge to power Maestro iPod prize draw
06 Apr 06
Maestro one of MasterCard's credit card brands, has been incentivising its commuting customers to use their Maestro card by giving them the chance to win an iPod this April.

Customers traveling via major train stations (London Victoria, Euston, Paddington, Liverpool Street and Manchester Piccadilly) and making a purchase with their Maestro card, then have the opportunity to enter the prize draw.

After their purchase, the customer texts in the first six digits of their Maestro card number (for subsequent validation) and are automatically entered into the next hourly prize draw, taking place from 3pm to 8pm.

Sales Promotion Agency, Arc, appointed Sponge to manage the SMS campaign using the Text Generator Draw Engine - which collates all valid entries and automatically draw winners at the scheduled times - on an hourly basis. Winners details are processed and automatically passed on for fulfillment by the agency to notify the winner within 2 hours of the draw.
