That detail would have to come publicly when all investors had equal and fair access to the information to make trading decisions on a level playing field. Campiti could not tell one random shareholder insider information. I can't speak for Ragsy, but I'd be willing to bet Campiti played it vague. Of course he knew, he just couldn't say he knew. He probably said something like, "I saw the same news you saw about the launch date. Sure you complain that there isn't a lot of info out there, Benny's just a quiet guy who releases info carefully."
I used to work on the quarterly and end of year statements for a fortune 100 bank. You think if a random shareholder called me and asked if I thought the bank was going to meet past projections provided to Wall Street, I could legally say something? Of course not.
If Campiti actually told anyone that the launch was delayed before it was public information, he'd be under SEC investigation. So let's knock off the reckless "Campiti lied" or was deceptive nonsense. He couldn't tell the story even if he wanted to.
