Rockland, all stock securities trades are settled on "T+3", meaning that the settlement day is on the 3rd business day after you hit the button (in this case, it will settle on Tuesday next week since you sold it today). So that's technically when your cash is available. Your broker may let you withdraw on an advance/loan sooner, I don't know.

Rock I use TD as well and you can pull that cash immediately.

Most won't allow withdrawal until a settlement. They will be available to reinvest, but not withdraw.
