when it comes to business, European mind set is diametrically opposed to American mind set. In Europe consumers mean something, whereas in US Businesses almost always prevail over consumers. Take for example all different proprietary phone chargers that are in US. That means if your charger does not work any more you will be forced to buy the proprietary charger at the price they want. The European Union recently passed a law forcing all phone makers to make ONE and only ONE standard phone charger in order to favor competition. Consumers are really part of the whole business ecosystem whereas in the US consumers most of the time are forced to go by the big businesses' rules.
Stoppatent, You are missing what is really happening. The only reason VRNG is crushing ZTE has nothing to do with the EU or America courts. Its all about the defendant! QCOM, Apple, and Google will not be defeated by a troll, but everything Asian will! Why is this not obvious to everyone?
