Predicted this would come... green energy is in massive demand. By 2050 energy used is expected to double so the energy demands of tomorrow have to come from somewhere. Anyone that ascertains the thought plunging oil prices will somehow derail this project and/or green energy incentives at large is not only just entirely guessing off face validity are also completely ignoring reality. Implementation of renewable sources all over the world is growing exponentially Invanpah/Topaz facilities for example both in the billions. Lower oil prices clearly had no effect on production of these facilities. I could keep going but there have been so many sources come online across the world.

Oil can keep on dropping as energy demands, political climate and the trends all across the world are slowly weaning off dirty fossil fuels.

No affect on per kwh charged. Do d/d also low percent power plants run on oil

BTW, electricity is typically generated in the United States by burning coal not oil.

I'm surprised that you didn't know that...
