I am merely stating that this could be the reason that Bolt Threads stated on their site:

Not too long ago,they were Refactored Materials,so I am led to believe they:

are currently in product development discussions with the world’s leading performance apparel and consumer good brands

The fact that I also included the quote:

expect our fibers to be available in consumer products in 2016.

Was to inform others of said companies projected timeline to commercialization.


2015 is a little over a month away and as time waits for no one,we'll inch ever so close to 2016.


As to who the "world's leading performance apparel and consumer goods brands" are,,i'm just repeating the information which was made available to the public.


There are times that what is written is just that;not meant to be interpreted any other way than was posted....


This is one of those times.


It is interesting however,that you assumed the Refactored Materials quote referred to KBLB.
