Note to the Hawaii tourism industry: Judge Kurren is not your friend

Is Federal Judge on Hawaii ready to torpedo tourism?

A Judge trying to save Dow and Monsanto and their toxic GMO/pesticide experiments is one thing; but there is a much bigger industry in Hawaii:

Tourism.

I'm sure Judge Barry Kurren and his wife, Faye, know some of the heavy hitters in that billion-dollar business.

Well, look at it this way: If the Judge rules against the people of Maui, who just voted to stop Dow and Monsanto...

And if tourists begin to realize how many Dow/ Monsanto experimental toxic pesticides continue floating around the Islands...

And if they book their vacations elsewhere...

Eyes will turn. Glances will become accusing stares.

"Judge, why did you let Dow and Monsanto keep spraying that crap? For all I know, some of it has drifted on to the grounds of my hotel. It might be in the water. Reservations are down. People are figuring out what's going on."

Yes. Those sparkling beaches, waving palms, and sunsets in the travel brochures? What if pesticides are in the sand, in the fronds, in the air?

Not the just the usual poisons, but instead the experimental ones that governments restrict, because they're extra nasty. The ones Dow and Monsanto have been using day after day after day.

It's time for the tourism moguls on Hawaii to realize their goose is being cooked, and it doesn't smell good.

Realize it and do something about it.

Then there is also the construction industry.

A prospective client tells a Maui property manager: "I'm backing out. No sale. I'd rather buy a condo on the dark side of the moon."
