Soldier, I have seen Tequila Tierras ONLY Once at Warehouse Wines and Spirits in NYC.

That was 6mo ago. Bought it then. Tried it. It's good. Never saw it anywhere else. I just did some shopping at Warehouse Wines and they did not have it anymore.

BTW, Jefferson's has gone up in price by around $5-6 bucks on average. At Astor wines the had a Holiday Display with Store Recommendations and Jefferson's was the bourbon selected. It retailed for 42.99. It used to be 36.99. Out in Long Island it's also 42.

Jefferson's used to retail at the same level as Bulleitt, but now it's more expensive. Not sure that's a good thing.

I found it at Warehouse Wines today for 36 and bough a couple of bottles, probably the last at that price.

I asked about The Ocean everywhere. They were sold out. It retailed for 99 bucks at Astor, but it's long gone. They only get a few bottles at a time. People ask for it a lot apparently.

The strategy should be MORE OCEAN. Hope Trey Zoeller is reading this. It only take 6mo to age. Just ship half the inventory on a container ship and them sell it as Ocean.

MOAR OCEAN=MOAR MONEY.

My experience at the south Miami Total Wines did not yield my hoped for tequila; I was very bummed. They didn't carry the whiskey's either. What the _ _ _ _?

Gosslings filled three rows; Jeffersons combined filled three also, but only regular ($36) and reserve ($52).

I bought 2 Reserves for the holiday weekend. My cousin (he grew up in Miami) who helped me kill a bottle with my buddy in Dallas will be there too. Knowing he will be "a repeater" as well as other bourbon drinkers, made buying two an easy decision.

I took all the liquor over to my brothers for the big bash on Thursday. He already had a bottle of regular Jeffersons. We tried the two side-by-side. Oh my gosh, there is a world of difference. I mean, in my opinion a slam dunk difference. The reserve is soooooo much better.

14 bottles of wine, a few cases of beer, what's left of the Jeffersons, plus the regularly stocked bar; all will have a good time ... no matter what the PPS closes at on Wednesday.

I still haven't seen Ocean in any store. Not Manhattan either; has anyone seen it yet?
