Government control and regulation of something that is based on the free-market is insane. Of course I have never accused Americans of being sane. I always bet that Americans will willingly give up more freedom in favor of enslavement by elitists.
It is just like climate change. The government says they can control the climate, fix droughts and eliminate (snow and rain) storms. Americans flock to the government saying "please take this hardship away" and gladly give away their liberties to those seeking power but are powerless to change the weather.
Like I said one really has to look no farther than an American to find true insanity.
