#1940 RE: Solarman #1938

Apparently you know the area fairly well. My land is the top of a ridge at nearly the same elevation, and also includes quite a bit of west facing sloped cleared farmland, just north of the turbines you have mentioned. The measured average windspeed is more than adequate to work well, as per the testing that had already been completed. All I was seeking from MMMW was to see a working prototype, and be provided with a pick-up price for a MAT and a augmenter unit. As a GC, permitting, delivery to the site, installation, and grid hookup approval (which initially was not part of my plan) would have all been my problems to deal with. I have since built my own wind units that also have supplemental hydro turbines driving a common shaft system. I don't yet have enough storage capacity to move completely off the grid with confidence, but I am now paying more for service than electricity most months, running a four bedroom house and many machines in a woodworking shop every day.

My main prior point being, MMMW has been promoting a product as a part of their business venture for years, that they apparently have no capacity to get into a production mode. You don't have to believe me, You can call them up and try to get a picked up or delivered price on a MAT unit, and see what they have to say.
