I can follow your logic. I don't agree with any point in it but I can follow your theory. I would like to offer some information that is just as easy to follow and yields a completely different end.
HC hasn't been issuing licensing very frequently.
HC is still under lawsuit over the constitutionality of the MMPR so I don't believe this will change.
HEMP Tech was never a company in anyway than on paper, neither is any of the others, so a change to a website is probably just a sign that Bill upset Andreea.
People keep saying grandfathered in. But, grandfathered to what? A tomato farm? Sure.
On the jobs point, there are other places in Lakeshore that could grow MJ and bring jobs. Why piss everyone off by allowing CEN to start growing? Lakeshore has waited over a year they can wait until another company rents an Industrial building somewhere and grant them a site-specific license. There will be no jobs created anyways until there is a license. I think Lakeshore knows this isn't going to happen very soon most likely. So theoretically, let's say FITX's investors has annoyed and/or pissed off the town and the property owners, to the point of having the cops called on them, why would the town care to pass a rule change when there is no immediate benefit? No license = No jobs.
