Yes, it pertained to HLB Greening Disease. But there is a method that I think you can use for your beetles that may work very well and it follows along with the fix I came up with for Greening. One of my studies was the problem with Whitefly in the Palm trees in Florida and the Emerald Ash Bore in the northeast. You can get results by taking an insecticide that kills your beatle and mix the insecticide with a product called PENTRA BARK. This product is a organo silicone product that takes your insecticide directly through the outer bark layer ( phloem it is called) and will put the insecticide directly into the tree. The phloem will carry your agent into the root system of the tree and then return the insecticide back up through the other inside vascular part of the tree called the xylem which is the center part of the tree. Once the insecticide makes a complete round within the tree, any beatle that feeds or takes a bite from the tree will die in theory. Pentra Bark is quite expensive but there is other products on the market made with the same ingredients that are less expensive.
