Summary Final Steps (Essentially 2) Until Inaugural Flight
Remaining Tasks (with my comments in blue) For BLTA Certification (Essentially 2 Tasks, #3 & #4 are mere formalities):
1.) Mini Evacuation Test & Simulated Ditching Test * Planning & Preparation already completed. Attempted multiple Mini Evacs. Slides Deployment Issue (Baltia Crew Performed Brilliantly). Last attempt supposedly all the slides functioned properly, but was a girt bar issue.
2.) Proving Flights * 100 Hours Flight Time required for BLTA to demonstrate they can safely perform their proposed route. Estimate up to a month, but again, paperwork required.
3.) FAA Air Carrier Certificate Issuance * FAA paperwork required, but FAA has known this is coming.
4.) Inaugural Flight * BLTA has been preparing for this moment for years. FAA to allow Promotion and Ticket Sales 30 to 45 days prior to Inaugural Flight.
