I am pleased to have found evidence that the Mesquite Lake Project is still alive and trying to wind its way through the local governmental bureaucracies. However, judging from this, there is no telling how long it will take for this project to launch, if it does it all.

What is not mentioned in articles is the benefit to the population for reducing the harmful effects of radiation from wind dust from these mines. I see this as the biggest benefit but it appears no one wishes to mention this for reasons we can assume.
