(OTC Pink: DROP) (PINKSHEETS: DROP) (the "Company"), today announced that it had completed a restructuring and financing with the purpose of supporting the Company's intent to expand its operations by entering into new lines of business. In connection with the restructuring, the Company has acquired a 51% interest in Spiral Energy Technology, Inc. ("SETI"), a Long Island-based technology company focused on renewable energy monitoring and generation headed by Ezra Green, a solar energy pioneer and inventor of data communication and electrical sensing patents for use in the utility, commercial as well as the residential mass markets. The patented technology is being sought to be commercially developed and launched by Spiral and has been successfully enforced against two major utility companies, with other claims under review.
The patents were awarded for the type and method of reporting the electrical production and consumption or alternative energy generating devices (solar/wind installations) using cellular and satellite technologies as the transmission pathway. This technology allows for the basis of a monitoring and reporting/control network which SETI is designing while seeking UL approval on a monitoring device under development.
SETI believes that the basic concept of its monitoring reporting/control network has applicability in additional industries, including remote unmanned delivery services which are currently being investigated for adoption for use by online and offline retailers so that if and when implemented, delivery drone operators can monitor, assign, track, maintain and service their delivery vehicles.
