#68112 RE: albacora #68111

Always attaching the company to some panacea is the typical way in which management functions here. I guess marijuana is as good as any scheme, maybe better. There is a tinge of a gambler in every step Hodge takes. Hail Mary passes at football games have a much better chance of success. One of the problems here is that management does not believe in the nuts-and-bolts approach to business. It is always a roll-of-the-dice gimmick they hope will solve the problems, but in matters such as this the cavalry cannot be expected to come in and save the day. I would think that by now management would have learned that there are limits to how far a pumping scheme can take a stock, and that at some point along the way trying to do some honest business is necessary for success, and by that I mean trying to do something more than just cooking up some scheme and hoping that it turns out to be palatable. But the mindset of doing-a-dance as a means to get manna-from-heaven still prevails. It is so deeply ingrained in their consciousness that they cannot conceive of earning one's keep by the sweat of the brows or the charging of the synapses.
