I think that's because those other companies don't believe the only thing that will keep their SP up is a dog and pony show rather than a true deliverable.

If I'm wrong about this, I apologize before the entire board.

If only opinions against NNVC showed as much self correcting integrity...every time complaints are dismissed by milestones the bar is moved...and never a mea culpa follows...thanks Dr Kaz for the great example of good board behavior...also the interview on Fox tonite is noteworthy and Very Good News for NNVC...beyond fluff PR's, I haven't seen other companies willing to publicly discuss their Ebola products...it shows a confidence in the platform that IMO will be rewarded soon...and yes, I said product...IMO Ebolacide will soon be a product.

You are more optimistic than I am by some measure Magnus1 - but I tend to agree.

I said product...IMO Ebolacide will soon be a product.

All depends in my mind how you define 'soon'.

One step at a time,.....

First gotta get some compounds to USAMRIID for testing.

Then the guys at USAMRIID have to work their 'magic' and do the tests - if those results are positive looking,.....

THEN - in order to get enough of that 'product' to do any good - the Shelton plant has to go online,.... or some Herculean effort is going to have to be put in by some well-funded Government or NGO body to get scale-up accomplished elsewhere.

Even IF an Ebolacide2 formulation is found that works wonders on Ebola at USAMRIID,..... if NNVC finds itself in the same situation as the zMapp guys where there is no ability to provide a 'cure' on any realistic timeframe to enough people to make a difference - then it's only been an academic exercise and a distraction.

What milestones?

I remind you of where we were at the start of 2013 -- we were promised that tox for Flucide would start real soon. At that time there was no "preliminary tox" and "BASi tox" -- everyone on the board assumed that tox meant the real, next-step-is-the-IND-approval-from-the-FDA tox. Go ahead, read those old posts if you doubt me. And the state of the Shelton plant was irrelevant for this step, as all the needed Flucide would be produced in the existing lab. Also, we were assured that NNVC had enough cash in the bank to do both tox and phase I/IIa clinical trials.

Finally we got sort-of tox in the fall of 2013. But this turned out to be a preliminary, not-the-real-tox tox. (At about this point history was rewritten and we where told that that pre-tox was what they meant all along.) So we had to wait another full year for the real tox to begin. And when it did, only 8% of the required Flucide was delivered, and it turns out that they need the Shelton plant after all to make the remaining Flucide, so tox is now contingent on getting the new facility working. Also, the delays mean that another big share dilution must be done before clinical trials begin.

NNVC doesn't hit milestones. It hits meterstones.
