#33163 RE: chadradbad #33162

I think the worst I've ever experienced was just last Winter here in WI when we set all time records for the days high of 22-25 degrees below zero for highs and wind chills on those days were 50-60 degrees below zero. Most everything shut down those two days including most stores. Just stepping outside on days like that takes your breath away when you first breathe in as the air is so cold. I remember putting gas in my truck one of those days and it was so cold to stand outside for a minute that I would just put in a couple Bucks worth. The frost got so far down in the ground of over 4 feet that city water pipes were freezing up all over and many cities here had mandates that people had to leave their water running in their houses to keep the water lines in the streets from freezing up and then they gave everyone a credit on their bills for doing so. Hopefully we don't have another winter like that but they are saying we're in the same pattern this year as we were last winter. We shall see.
