If PPHM has data that shows that Bavi works as well as we think, no BP is going to be able to squash Bavi....the public would have a fit. Remember, we are talking a cancer drug that extends life with no significant side effects. The FDA would have no choice but to defend its position if they were crooked and this would be too high profile to tale that chance. You can get away with dose switching if you do enough cloak and dagger, but high profile in public agency, wellllll....not quite as easy. Small drugs for less or disease where other drugs are there to compete....yeah, there it might work. Bavi is the only upstream mab and it improves the existing drugs used in combo....that will not be easy to manipulate with a public agency....not these days.

this is exactly why having that Fargo ticket in your back pocket scares the hell out of some out there, and the FDA has much to lose in their reputation as well. I wonder how many Federal Authorities are planted places or turned....and just waiting... and waiting.... they could be in hedge funds, in big pharma types, in small pharma types, or even sitting right in the FDA or who the heck knows : )

sometimes being honest and ethical can help you gain a job as well.
