Anyone can own as much of a company as they want. That 10% limit is set by company and accredited investor during funding negotiations. It's not a law or rule !! Also would like to meet the VC that sold stock at even or a loss. Not 1 issuance had a price higher after, to sell for profit, till today. Look at the chart !
