The share price represents exactly a consensus of interested and non-interested investors--believers and non-believers--with those who need cash and so decide to sell, despite their belief in the company, thrown in.

The investor's belief in the company is based on past performance, future expected performance; funds available to invest--with one's spouse's approval; expected timeline on a product coming to market, if it is a development company; number of shares in the float and outstanding; rumors spread about the product and/or the officers and management team of the company; and other considerations, both personal and universal.

The share price, in short, is a democratically determined point based upon people's opinions of the company...and you do know that sometimes the majority of opinion can be wrong/incorrect-- which would account for a low share price in the present moment and a much higher share price in the future.....
