Why would QMC put the reactor in house? They said they might locate one close or possibly in site, but operated by QMC employees. DOW is not building their production capacity in house. Their will likely be more than one vendor who wants qdots from QMC, so yes demand will rise, but I don't see any in house reactors in the next 9 months. They haven't even ordered another one yet.
Additionally, QMC will likely not be the sole source for qdots to any display manufacturer. As others in manufacturing have pointed out, they usually use multiple sources for materials. This market is just starting and we have no clue how the supply chain will play out. These are just educated guesses in my part.
