Sorry you could'nt follow the line of thought that I expressed. Social media companies do in fact sell their platforms and work hard in promoting them. Most companies pay to advertise their products on those platforms. They in fact do the work in disseminating information on their products. Decn is expecting the users of those platforms to advertise their product for them. In fact doing decn"s job which they have failed miserably at. Have you even ever seen Decn's product on a shelf? Hopefully, that's a little easier for you to follow.
The last statistics' I saw on social media around another public company was that usage of the medium was to increase year over year 150% each year for the next 5-15 years. That is a lot of eyeballs and further potential spend $$$ to be captured by those that understand where to be in the advertising world for profit. I believe the focus of that announcement was "spot on" to where we need to be. GLA
