I use fidelity and you can buy tweed in Canada. It's twd.ca at fidelity. Must go through a process with them to set up international trading takes about 10 minutes on phone. The US dollar can buy a ton of Canadian tweed shares in today's currency. You will pay a small fee to convert the currency. I own both twd and twmjf. And trading cost are a bit higher than regular trading fee.
