lmorovan,

Don't you believe that there is only one judgement and one resurrection? Revelation 20 says that there are 2 resurrections. Please explain instead of taking shots at NJMARK50.

lmorovan,

if the believers were already judged before the Final Judgment, why is there the book in which the names of the saved are to be found, and the names of the lost will not be found? If only the lost are judged before the Throne of God, then they are all guilty and condemned, hence, the book has no room to be there.

To show that the names of the lost are not in the Lamb's Book of Life, to show that they did not make the decision to choose Jesus as their way to Heaven.

Revelation 20:12-13 also tell us that this judgment is specifically reserved for those eternally condemned:

20:12-And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
20:13- And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

The term "dead" is the Greek word "Nekros," pronouced the way it is spelled. It literally means "spiritually dead
destitute of a life that recognises and is devoted to God, because given up to trespasses and sins inactive as respects doing right, destitute of force or power, inactive, noperative."

This judgment is reserved for the spiritually dead, those eternally condemned.
