Wapakoneta. Been there many times. It's small but also the county seat so not that sleepy.

Home to the Armstrong Air & Space Museum: inexpensive, interesting, original Gemini & Apollo spacecraft, spacesuits, moon rocks, etc. Also a lunar module landing simulator that is devilishly hard, really gives you an idea of the difficulty involved.
