Erdo, Gremlin,

Many thanks.

Now this is a PR released due to the share price going south, I'm sure.

Dr. Thuo...

Completion of the ongoing detailed seismic interpretation is expected to mature these leads into drillable prospects.

My rough interpretation...

We don't need no stinkin' 3D!

Nice little pr.....

"some with closures of up to 20 square kilometers"

Oil guys...... Black blob? :-)

I like this pr as it confirms the company is giving out as much info as they possibly can.

Looking good for both Kenya and chad boys and girls!

Now we expect to go straight into drilling. That is very encouraging to me. Maybe just a little 3D to fine-tune. I will try to buy some more today.

The blobs... they're back! Anam and Tarach basin locations, areas mentioned in today's press release:

The full tensor gravity gradiometry (FTG) survey conducted earlier on the Block identified two separate basins, Anam and Tarach, which cover 1,600 square kilometers to the west of Block 11A and 2,500 square kilometers to east, respectively.

You'll recall the map above is from the research paper done by petroleum geologist Bernard Kipsang Rop, Ph.D., titled Petroleum Potential of NW-Kenya Rift Basins: A Synopsis of Evidence and Issues. He correctly identified basins in which Tullow has found oil.

It is indisputable that CEPSA/ERHC have entered the second exploration period. Today's press release indicates compelling reason for further commitment to the block. Speaking of commitment, I keep remembering the photo of that large seismic camp... which apparently does not even capture the whole site (note part of another fenced-in area with buildings on left).

Things continue to come together for ERHC! - LT

P.S.: View other maps of these basins by following this chain of posts.
