Thats how research works!!! once you have developed a new technology you then license or sell it or get bought out!
Why do you think IBIO is about to explode... bc they spent the time and money on research and now have marketable intellectual property that has been derived from that research...
perhaps it is utilized for ebola, great or possibly for something less dramatic such as hemorrhoid meds, doesnt matter as long as it is an advancement that can be utilized for profit by a pharm mfg that is willing to pay for the technology bc they can recognize a benefit from it
