That all sounds a bit too imaginative for me.

A cell phone based device that tests for ebola or other infectious diseases? Not likely. First of all, ebola and other virus detection are much more complicated than obtaining a glucose reading. Secondly, what doctor is going to want to use their cell phone for testing someone's blood who may possible a highly infectious disease?

I am waiting for the FDA approval, which I hope comes before the end of the year.
