That was something I used to do with the annual Forbes mutual fund review. It was pretty good for mutual funds.

I don't know of a similar service being performed for ETFs. Then again, I've not looked at Forbes in years. They used to have this great annual report on mutuals and maybe there is something similar for ETFs but I just don't know.
