My belief that those short memories of analysts have more to do with a company's need for financing and therefore those analysts' firms being allowed to participate.
What happened when we lost so much value on our investment, the analysts lost a portion of their reputation.
Ariad will likely have trouble accessing the capital markets so I don't think those short memories will kick in.
