Today's DDCC news says the TransLock is patent-pending. Also, the wording on the system being redesigned indicate this is an improved version of the original Transprop container. I believe the "squared" part of the name is a reference to the ability of the units to be packaged in groups of 4 to give the 100 ton capacity of a standard rail car.

Never mind my second question: I just read in Business Wire the new system is, "patent pending". My, they really kept THIS work quiet for some time! :)
